Return & Refund Policy
At Ethnic Car Mats, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our artisan pieces. Please review this policy carefully to understand the terms that apply to your purchase, as they reflect the curated and made-to-order nature of our products.
Our Policy in a Nutshell
· We do not accept returns or exchanges based on buyer's remorse, style preference, or fitment choice.
· We only accept returns for items that arrive damaged, defective, or materially different from what was described and shown on the product page.
· All approved returns must be initiated within 7 calendar days of the delivery date.
Eligibility for a Return & Refund
To be eligible for a return and potential refund, your item must meet all the following conditions:
1. Condition: Unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as you received it.
2. Reason: The item is damaged during shipping, has a manufacturing defect, or is materially different (e.g., wrong pattern, color, or item sent).
3. Timeframe: You must contact us to report the issue and initiate a return request within 7 calendar days of the confirmed delivery date.
Non-Returnable Items
Due to the nature of our products, the following are not eligible for return or refund:
· Fitment or Size: Issues or dissatisfaction with how a universal-fit mat fits your specific vehicle.
· Color or Pattern Variations: Slight variations in color or pattern hue compared to website images. These can occur due to monitor settings, material dye lots, and are inherent to hand-finished textiles.
· Change of Mind: Returns based on a change of heart, accidental order, or finding a better price elsewhere.
The Return Process (For Approved Cases)
1. Contact Us First: Do not ship the item back without authorization. Email us at care@ethniccarmats.com within 7 days of delivery with:
· Your order number.
· Clear photographs/video of the damage, defect, or discrepancy.
2. Authorization & Instructions: If your return is approved, we will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and specific instructions for shipping the item to our designated returns address. Returns sent without an RMA will not be accepted.
3. Return Shipping Costs: For items that are damaged, defective, or incorrect due to our error, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label. In other rare cases where a return is approved, you may be responsible for return shipping costs.
4. Inspection & Refund: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or payment processor may take additional time to post the credit.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different item, you must follow the return process for the original item (if eligible) and place a new order.
Refunds
· Timing: As noted above, refunds are processed within 10 business days after we receive and approve the return.
· Partial Refunds: We reserve the right to issue partial refunds (e.g., if an item is returned used, damaged by the customer, or missing parts).
· Non-Refundable: Original shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases of our error.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged or is incorrect, please follow the "Return Process" above immediately. We will work swiftly to resolve the issue, which may involve a replacement (if available) or a full refund.
